Círculo de la Hispanidad operates a food pantry out of its Long Beach office.
The Pantry operates on Thursdays from 2 pm to 4 pm and provides individuals and families with non-perishable goods. Perishable goods are provided on a limited basis as supplies are available.
Circulo de la Hispanidad’s food pantry has been supported since its inception by the Long Island Cares Harry Chapin Food Bank. Círculo was a recipient of the Charlotte Cheatham Hunger Relief Fund, (2014), and received a donation to support its food pantry. The fund was established in the name of Charlotte Cheatham, who was a tireless advocate for the poor and hungry. Círculo is appreciative of this and other donations to help its food pantry operate.

Circulo provides a variety of crisis intervention services to assist individuals and families in need, including referrals and assistance to help individuals locate services and support.
Círculo offers toys to children up to twelve years of age. Toys are distributed to children during Círculo’s cultural celebration of the Three Kings, which is held at Círculo Center in January. Children participate by submitting a letter to the Three Kings during Círculo’s Holiday Celebration held in December. Circulo accepts toy donations to help with this initiative.
Circulo distributes backpacks and school supplies to children and families in need. Quantities are limited and subject to availability based upon donations.
For this purpose, Circulo accepts donations for school supplies and backpacks throughout the year. Contributions made for this purpose are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
