Sábado Cultural
Sábado Cultural is part of Círculo’s Youth Development/Delinquency Prevention Program supported through the Nassau County Youth Board. This program is for participants who have knowledge of the Spanish language and are interested in learning more Spanish and about Hispanic culture.
Sábado Cultural is a three hour Saturday program that operates during the fall and spring semesters. Children receive instruction in dance, the Spanish language and participate in arts and crafts activities designed to help children foster an understanding of Hispanic heritage and different Spanish speaking cultures. Classes are in Spanish and are for elementary school-age children.
Participants in this program perform at Círculo’s Holiday Show in December and the Mother’s Day show in May.
