Permanent Housing

Casa Serenidad provides permanent housing rental assistance to individuals and homeless families in various housing sites throughout Nassau County.

Capacity: 6 singles and 5 families

Referrals Sources: Referrals in Nassau County. Individuals must be homeless and meet the HUD definition of homelessness.

Requirements: Individuals must be homeless.  Applications are submitted through the Continuum of Care - Long Island Coalition for the Homeless

Casa Esperanza (Hope House) provides permanent housing for victims of violence in Nassau County.

Capacity: 2 families

Referrals Sources: Residents of Nassau County. Individuals must be homeless and meet the HUD definition of homelessness.

Requirements: Individuals must be fleeing from domestic violence. This program is for homeless victims of violence.

HHAP- Homeless Housing Assistance Program offers permanent housing for homeless families in Nassau County.

Capacity: 4 families

Referrals Sources: Residents of Nassau County.

Requirements: Individuals must be homeless. Participants must contribute 30% of their income to rent.
